What is your return/exchange policy for shirts, hats, and apparel?

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. Our clothing and accessory items are custom-made for you by a third-party print-on-demand partner. Because they are made to order, we cannot accept returns or exchanges for sizing issues, "buyer's remorse," or color preferences. Please check the sizing chart on the product page carefully before you buy.

My shirt or apparel item arrived with a print error or is damaged. What do I do?

We're sorry for the issue! If your item has a manufacturing defect or print error, please do not bring it to one of our stores. Instead, please email Bruce@FXVideoGameExchange.com within 7 days of receiving your order.

To help us resolve this quickly, please include:

  1. Your Order Number

  2. A clear photo of the damaged item (including the print)

  3. A brief description of the issue

We will work with our partner to get you a replacement.

Why did my order arrive in two separate packages?

Our apperal fulfillment partners have distribution centers from all over the country, as well as other countries. But our consoles are shipped directly from our Waco store.

  • Video Games & Consoles are shipped directly by our team from one of our Waco store.

  • Apparel & Accessories are made-to-order and shipped directly from our third-party partner's facility. Because of this, your items will likely arrive at different times and in different packages.

Repairs & Hardware Warranty

What kind of warranty do you offer on your repairs?

We stand by our work. All repairs performed by FX technicians come with our 90-Day Parts and Labor Warranty.

What kind of warranty comes with the consoles you sell?

All pre-owned consoles we sell are professionally repaired, cleaned, and tested by our expert team. They are all covered by a warranty, which varies based on the console's condition:

  • Refurbished Consoles: Come with a 90-Day Warranty.

  • Reman'd (Remanufactured) Consoles: These have undergone a more intensive restoration process and come with a 1-Year Warranty.

The exact warranty for each item is listed on its product page and on your receipt.

What do you repair?

We've been perfecting our craft since 1995! We repair almost every generation of video game hardware, from retro classics like the NES and Sega Genesis to modern powerhouses like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch. We also repair handhelds and controllers.

How long will my repair take?

Repair time depends on the specific issue, our current queue, and parts availability. When you bring your console in, we can provide you with a more accurate time and cost estimate after our technicians diagnose the problem.

Do you buy, sell, and trade used games?

Absolutely! Buying, selling, and trading are the core of our business. Bring your used games, consoles, and accessories to any of our locations, and our team will be happy to make you a cash or store credit offer.

We even buy broken consoles and controllers for parts! Get some store cash or store credit for your broken stuff!

Are the consoles you sell new?

We specialize in pre-owned hardware. Every console we sell is meticulously inspected, cleaned, and fully refurbished (or remanufactured) by our in-house technicians to ensure it meets our high-quality standards.
